MÁRIA PINČÍKOVÁ

Producer
Slovak director and photographer Mária Pinčíková (1987) studied documentary film at the Film and Television Faculty at the Academy of Performing Arts, Bratislava, SR (bachelor’s degree) and master’s degree ( fiction film ) at the prestigious University of Arts in London, UK. She also studied photography and new media at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava and also at the University of Silesia in Opava, Czech Republic (ITF). Previously she also studied architecture at the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava and pedagogy (Slovak language and literature combined with visual arts) at the Comenius University, Slovakia.
While studying film, she graduated from the renowned IDFA Academy program in Netherlands and completed internships at Czech Television in Prague and Mischief films in Vienna.
In 2015, she co-founded the advertising studio Jelly Advertising, where she works as an art director.
In 2022, she founded the film producing company 0000 s.r.o.
Her work is characterised by various genres and a combination of documentary and feature directing methods: her portfolio includes mockumentaries, hybrid films, film portraits, observational documentaries, short and feature films.
KATARÍNA HRAŠKOVÁ

Slovak interdisciplinary artist and cultural worker Katarína Hrašková graduated in Chinese language, studied audiovisual studies at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava and is currently studying at FAMU in Prague, at the Centre of Audiovisual Studies. She has been working on artistic strategies for documentary distribution, she is a graphic designer and has worked as a production manager at an interdisciplinary art centre in Bratislava. She also writes about film, her texts have been published in Pontón, Filmsk and Frame magazines.
